Dr. Mehmet Çetin Duruk

He graduated in Community Medicine branch from Hacettepe University. After completing the Business and Economics Institute at Istanbul University, he started in Duruk Family  companies as senior positions. He founded IREKS Inc. with his German partners in 1989, and Backhaus with his wife Hilal Duruk in 2004. He sees Backhaus primarily as an institution that provides public health services to our community.

She graduated her doctorate in Microbiology and Infectious Diseases at the Hacettepe University. She exported to Marks & Spencer with the H&H company  that she founded in London. She worked as a volunteer trainer at the Child Protection Agency. She founded Backhaus with Mehmet Cetin Duruk in 2004

Ömer Duruk

He graduated from German High School in 1996. After graduating from the Department of Industrial Engineering at Cornell University in New York in 2000, he has completed a master's degree from the Johnson MBA school at Cornell University in 2001.

He worked as Poor Money Management and Marketing Strategy Analyst at Capital One Bank in the United States. He worked as Marketing Manager at Aroma A.Ş. in 2004-2005. As the only member of the family, he accompanied the Founder Ömer Duruk in the management of the Aroma company in Bursa until his death.. He served as the general manager of Backhaus between 2005 and 2020 and led the brand to both branch out and become the most preferred bakery product supplier in Istanbul. Then he founded his B2B business. It enabled us to become a solution partner for many consumption points such as Hotels, Cafes, Airlines, Congress Centers and Catering companies; developed and branded it. Since 2020, he has been a board member of Backhaus, deputy chairman of the board of Aroma, a member of the Board of Directors of Ireks and the family's Real Estate, Construction, Accommodation, Fuel, Storage, etc. He works as a board member and General Manager of Aksmar, an asset management company that has activities in
